Selina entered the hair and beauty field when only a handful of reputed salons were in operation. Understanding the need for professionalism in the field, she made her way to Singapore, Malaysia and England for professional Training.

She is a State Registered Hairdresser in the UK, holds a Master Craftsman Diploma and is a member of the Hair Dressing Council of London-Habia-World Federation of Hair Dressers and the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.

After wrapping up her qualifications overseas and on her return to Sri Lanka, she wasted no time in setting up her first salon – Salon Princess. This was just a taste of things to come. She soon went on to establish two other salons named “She” and “Hair Affair” in the city of Colombo.

But being the ambitious individual that she was this was hardly sufficient for Selina. Nearly a decade later, her crowning achievement would come in the form of “Salon Hana”, which she established at Colombo 5.

Selina is an experienced and qualified trainer who is dedicated to her cause and spares no efforts in teaching the best practices to her students. She has trained numerous students over the past decade in both hair and beauty. Most of them have gone on to find gainful employment in leading salons across the country or have been inspired enough to set up their own salons. A few have even ventured outside the borders of Sri Lanka and are now in the employment of some of the leading salons across the world.
