28 weeks Professional Diploma Course
A fully comprehensive course for persons with no prior Hair Dressing experience. Students must be over 16 years of age and be able to understand the English language. No special academic qualifications are required. It teaches the basic skills in practice and theory in all aspects of hairdressing, whereby the student can achieve the highest standard of efficiency and self confidence required for salon work.
The course is conducted primarily on a practical basis with the addition of theory lectures to provide the student with essential background knowledge. Clients of all age groups are available for practical work in the schools modern salon, enabling the student to gain firsthand experience in a working environment. As a Hana Diploma Holder is recognized as being knowledgeable and efficient, this course has been the foundation for many successful salon owners and stylists throughout the world.
When hours and work targets are completed, the student will be eligible to sit for the Hana Diploma,which has one of the highest Hairdressing standards obtainable anywhere.

2 months Hana finishing Diploma course
It is a short intensive course for students who have completed their basic 5 months course , or suitable for persons returning to the craft , or junior hairstylists or apprentices. It covers all subjects essential to bring one uptodate with the latest advanced techniques in cutting, blow drying, setting, permanent waving,hair coloring and long hair design.
When hours and work targets are completed, the students will be eligible to sit for the diploma of Hana, which is one of the highest hairdressing standards obtainable anywhere.
1,2,3, Advanced cutting
For hairdressers strong in basic ability, who wish to learn the advanced cutting techniques necessary to enhance artistic work.
This programme includes demonstrations and practical work on methods of precision cutting and blow drying. The emphasis is strongly on todays and tomorrows styles, with an appreciation of balance and suitability of different clients.
We are aware that as a professional, you will have already developed your creativity and technical approach, and this will be taken fully into account during classes. Close personal supervision and small classes allow flexibility in the programme to ensure you receive tution and advise, to meet your individuality. Multiple programmes of longer duration can be arranged to meet the students requirements.

Todays hairdressing is an advanced combination or scientific process and creative art, requiring a degree of expertise far greater than ever before.
The Academy is for stylists who wish to release themselves from the confines of everyday salon work to enjoy the stimulating experience of working with others who share their enthusiasm for genuine creative feeling and expression.
Fashion, to us is creativity in hair, clothes and make up, which we can express visually. Understanding how fashion, hair and techniques combine is all important for the creative hair artist.
This programme has been carefully structured to extend your knowledge of current hair designs, and the techniques involved – whether basic or advanced, which when combined together create high fashion looks.
With you, members of the Hana artistic team will communicate their knowledge and share their experience through all the demonstrations and practical sessions to include – hair cutting, coloring, perming,session work and make up.

1 day workshop
This one day programme is designed for hair dressers with over 2 years salon experience who want to update their knowledge in the latest cutting techniques, increase their confidence and make them more professional in their approach to clients through the right hair consultation and cut.
The workshop offers opportunities to watch demonstrations of the latest cutting and styling techniques, guidance on correct client consultation, practical sessions with models and group discussions of hair dressing problems.
